We are a team of moms & business experts who believe
growing your business should feel fun—not like building a lego set without instructions.

STOP PLAYING THIS GAME ALONE AND GRAB YOUR GROWTH BESTIES

There’s plenty we do in life without guidelines, but growing your business shouldn’t be one of them. Imagine trying to do a lego build (hi everyone with 4–6 year olds right now) without any instructions at all. ABSOLUTE CHAOS.

Growing a business that is profitable and sustainable isn’t a guessing game,
it’s a strategy game—and no one should be playing alone.

(Hi, that’s why you should work with Mom Knows Marketing.)

a business growth strategist who believes building a sustainable business should be fun.

Hi, I’m Miranda

If you missed my lil intro on the home page, or just want to hear it again, I learned about marketing for the first time in 3rd grade when I saw my friends selling chocolate candies for .25 cents a piece and making BANK (well, enough bank to buy the packs of gum they then also proceeded to sell for $1 each). While I was screwed by the imaginary inflation of my elementary school hallways, my mind was ignited to the many possibilities of making money and taking advantage of marketing opportunities.

Since then, I’ve found so much joy in helping other women make money in their businesses. I’ve worked for the last ten years in administration, marketing, and operations (suuuuper fancy words for helping businesses grow), and have experienced “Oh my gosh, I’ve needed you forever” so many times. I absolutely nerd out over data, systems, streamlining operations, and building authentic marketing strategies so that you can spend more time doing what you love in your business and less time dealing with everything else.

TLDR; I love to help you find clients, serve them well, and book out consistently—while you fill the snack cups and manage the soccer schedules.

I ran solo from 2019 until 2025 when I began expanding our team so I could serve more people and offer more expertise, all in one place. I found that so many of the women I was working with wanted more support, and the energy to vet and hire another company was a lot—enter, my dreams of an agency. I am one person with one capacity, but now with our Mom Knows Marketing team, we can serve our clients in so many ways, right here in-house.

How Did We Get Here?

The Journey

Family of five, two adults and three children, with a dog, in a living room with white walls, orange curtains, and a beige sofa.
Brown rectangular sign with rounded corners, displaying the text 'MOM' in large white uppercase letters and below it 'treasures' in smaller, elegant white cursive font.

The MKM Difference

I’ve spent endless late nights & nap times learning how to market businesses in the simplest and most effective ways so you don’t have to keep thinking, “ugh, I just need to post on social media more.”

With ten years of experience in business operations and marketing, I know how to come alongside small businesses and set them up to make money sustainably. This means that your marketing strategy won’t just look nice, and it definitely won’t look like the girl’s next to you—it will be effective and built fully for you.

I’ve seen over and over again entrepreneurs struggle with the dreaded question, “How do I get more clients?”, and the second I step into their business I see a mess of cookie-cutter approaches and under-performing systems, and my excitement goes off the rails. You’d be embarrassed by how much I nerd out over data & planning for your business, so I’ll spare you the details.

Working with us is like walking confidently into the local ice cream shoppe and ordering your favorite flavor, knowing it will blow your expectations every single time. You’ll leave satisfied, full, and excited to come back for more. (Okay, that anecdote got a little off the rails, I just really like ice cream so sue me.)

*for all legal purposes, please don’t sue me actually.

01
Let’s Have Fun

In case you haven’t gathered yet, I’m a fun QUEEN. If what you’re doing isn’t fun, it sucks and you should find a new way to do it so it is fun. Life is too short to be bored, so hire out what you don’t love and dive into what you do love.

And lucky for our clients, we love a lot of what they don’t ;)

02
Let’s Be Authentic

In a world of AI websites, robotic-responses, and cookie-cutter brands, you want your business to stand out. Sustainable growth doesn’t come from copying the person next to you, it comes from diving deeper into what makes your business unique and finding a way to represent that online.

03
Let’s Be Intentional

STOP, for the love of all things chocolate, STOP throwing spaghetti at the wall and hoping it sticks. *EWWW* Be intentional in your investments, in your time, in your strategy, in who you work with, in what you do—ALL OF IT. Please.

Our Mission is to help business owners feel confident in their business growth
through customized marketing services and operational support.

Miranda Trudeau

HBIC, strategist, marketing nerd, and lead designer (and compulsive coffee gift-card giver)

  • I am the owner & founder & entrepreneur (love coming up with more words to say I started the company) who started Mom Knows Marketing. I absolutely love all things data and growth strategy, and nerd the hell out on designing custom brands, building beautiful websites, and watching analytics soar. I have three amazing kids I stay home with and homeschool (I’m insane, I know), and you can find me reading my Kindle in every spare moment I have. If you need a reason to buy one, message me immediately.

I’ll be the one you meet on sales calls & during your onboarding! I also work in the design & operations space of Mom Knows Marketing!

Sarah Bouma

  • Sarah is like the sweet, down-to-earth, and organized bestie you need on your side. She is my Virtual Assistant and also serves clients administratively! She has two beautiful girls and when she’s not serving snacks she wants a cozy blanket, iced latte, and a good book (she is also bought into the Kindle-amazingness, don’t you worry).

Whitney Britton

Virtual Assistant (aka Detail Queen)

  • SWEEEET, southern, mama of two, Whitney is the resident outdoorsy gal of the four of us. She also loves reading (hmm I’m seeing a pattern in my team member choices), and she thrives on a good State Park hike. Whitney serves clients through VA services.

Madison Rivera

Visuals & socials expert (aka the bestie you want on your social media team)

  • Madsssss, the design guru & the one with the visual eye for all things beautiful. She lives in northern Michigan (like northern, northern Michigan), and you can basically think of her as the epitome of cozy. Skincare, cozy blankets, sipping coffee, wood burning stove, snow outside—the freaking dream. Her little boy is the most presh, and she serves our clients through social media support and bringing the cozy vibes.
